I haven't made a post on here in like forever, but I felt like writing about stuff. This spring I plan on getting a job so that I have some money coming in. I have about 13 rolls of film from last summer that I need to get developed, I really want to get them developed because I don't even know what are on the rolls. I also really want save up some money for a nice DSLR camera, because I would save so much money by switching over to digital even though I loathe digital because film looks so much nicer and has so much more character. I also want to do some more exploring at the Western Wayne correctional Facility(I have pictures of the prison up in earlier posts). This time I want to try and get into the prison, in the past I've been able to drive around the exterior but was unable to get into the interior of the prison, and hopefully going out there I won't get caught, I've been there about 4 times and I haven't gotten caught thank god. I'd also like to find out some of the history of the prison, I've tried looking stuff up online but haven't been able to find much info on the prison itself. I also want to go exploring at the Northville Psychiatric Hospital that has been closed for a while. Exploring abandoned places and learning about their history is so much fun

Background fail

Here are some reasons why you need to check the background of the shoot that you are taking. We didn't notice what the graffiti said until we picked the film up from developing. These are some of the pictures from the photoshoot that I did on Thursday. This was my first real photo shoot that have ever done.

So today is quite a special day. One year ago I came out to my friends that I am bisexual. Coming out was one of the hardest, yet the most rewarding things that I have ever done. Revealing and exposing part of myself like that is very hard because you have no idea how people are going to react. When I came out I lost many of my supposed "friends" just because of my sexual orientation. Many of my friends told me that they could not be associated with someone that is a sinner. At the time I was very active in my youth group and the church was a Evangelical Mega-Church that is very conservative. The hardest person to tell that I was bi and to come out to was my youth pastor who I was good friends with at the time. Well he told me that God hated my sinful behavior and that God could no longer love me. Even though I was met with all this hatred by people I thought were my friends I am glad that I came out, because coming out helped me figure out who my real friends were.

I cannot believe a year has gone by since I came out. In this past year I have grown and matured so much. In just my first semester of college I learned so much about the world and myself. I would not want to go back to the person that I was when I first came out. Because of coming out I am a bigger person. Coming out gave me experiences that I don't think I could have gotten without it. Coming out molded me into the person that I am today

So this is a big enough of a deal to warrant a blog post...This is big news and a big deal...You ready?!?

I just successfully cooked top ramen by myself. Yes it is a big deal. Until last Friday I did not how to boil water. Yes I am 19 and I didn't know to boil a pot of water. I have been very very sheltered. Well Monday this week I was over at Joey's house and I was hungry and I had bought some ramen in the morning. So i was like "Hmm I want some ramen!" So Joey got out a pot for me, but he's an idiot so he got out this huge pot for me, causing me to totally screw it up.

Well today it went totally great and it was the most delicous ramen that I have ever had.

These are pictures from last spring that I took out at the Prison. These pictures are some of my favorite pictures that I have taken. I like these pictures, because I took these myself and then developed the film myself and made the prints too. I just love the process of developing film myself. I love taking the pictures and then getting the chance to develop the film yourself. I don't know, I think its the fact that I did all of the work myself that makes these pictures feel special. Since I no longer have access to a darkroom I have to take my film to target and have them process the film instead of me. The prison and the alley are my favorite spots to go and take pictures at.

These are the pictures of the prison that I took last tuesday, when two of my classes got cancelled. This time I explored the Prison alot more than I had last spring when I went out there. I was able to go around the perimeter of the prison down a little dirt road that they probably used to use for patrols when the prison used to be open. Now that I think about it, it probably wasn't a good idea to have gone down that road. I could have easily gotten stuck cause the car that I drive is a 1993 mercury sable(not the best kind of car for off roading type stuff). After going to the Prison Joey, Kristina, and I drove around, we got slightly lost but I had an idea of where we were. I then realized that we were halfway to Ann Arbor, so I decided to drive out to Ann Arbor and show them the Alley. They really had no choice about going to Ann Arbor cause they were the passengers and I was the one driving.

I am not sure which of the pictures that I recently took of the prison that I want to put up on wikipedia.

These are some of the pictures that I took recently. The two of the alley are messed up cause of my stupid camera. What appended was I went to take the film out, well the camera hadn't rewound the film back to the beginning, so when I opened the camera some of the film got exposed therefore burning some of my film. I am quite happy with how the pictures turned out.

I hate goodbyes

I hate goodbyes. I hate changes. I sometimes wish things could stay the way they were. I know life is never stagnant and like a river it is always moving. I just wish sometimes that things would just stay. I sometimes feel like if I blink what I have will suddenly be gone. I hate the feeling of having to leave something that was perfect. I hate the feeling of having to walk away from something. I like to hold on to things even though sometimes I shouldn't be holding on to it anymore.

This weekend I had to say goodbye. It was so hard as we pulled away in the car, cause I knew that once we pulled away I would never be able to go back. I know that I have made some mistakes and failed with a side of epic at some things but other than that what I had was perfect. I sometimes wonder if things would be different if I was able to go back and I would still have what I cherished. There is no wishing for what I can't have. I need to move on and move along with the flow.

I love this song. It's I hate this part by the Pussycat Dolls(I know they are trashy pop music but I still love them). The song describes how I have been feeling lately about having to say goodbye to some things in my life.I know that sometimes I have to say Goodbye and cut something out of my life. Maybe things could have ended up different if we kept going, but all I know is I hate this part.

So I was not sure to post for my first blog post so I decided to just post some of the pictures that I have taken. The second picture is one of my favorite pictures that I have taken. It's of an abandoned prison near my house. I have gone there multiple times to take pictures even though the place is incredibly creepy, I generally like to take friends with me when I go there cause you never know who could be hanging out there.
