I just successfully cooked top ramen by myself. Yes it is a big deal. Until last Friday I did not how to boil water. Yes I am 19 and I didn't know to boil a pot of water. I have been very very sheltered. Well Monday this week I was over at Joey's house and I was hungry and I had bought some ramen in the morning. So i was like "Hmm I want some ramen!" So Joey got out a pot for me, but he's an idiot so he got out this huge pot for me, causing me to totally screw it up.
Well today it went totally great and it was the most delicous ramen that I have ever had.
It is a huge deal when someone is learning to cook. Gross story...I remember being a little kid, learning to make meatloaf. My mom gave me all the ingredients. I'm mixing everything together. Touching raw beef...ew...I'm leaning over the bowl, just really grossed out. I didn't realize my mouth was open a litte. I drooled in it. [Super gross!] My older brother caught it, my mom missed it. We never told. This is one of those gross posts for Post Secrets. Everytime I make meatloaf now, I think of that first time.
ReplyDeleteLol yeah. When I go over to my friend Joey's house he still makes sure when I make ramen that I have supervision. He thinks that I might do something and end up burning down the house. Pretty soon I don't think I will need supervision anymore to make ramen. Also this semester I am finally able to do my own laundry, it's kinda a big deal cause last semester I would only come home when I needed to do laundry and I would rope my grandma or mom into doing my own laundry
